Lightning strikes, even miles away, can create powerful surges or spikes which may damage your electronic in-ground fence. In nearly every case, damage to the transmitter results from power surges or spikes traveling through the Boundary Wire and not the power adapter.
Plug unit directly into the wall outlet, then plug your transmitter into the convenient piggyback outlet. A few simple wiring connections and installation is done; includes complete instructions. Inexpensive surge protectors will not protect the transmitter because they do not contain protection for the Boundary Wire. See operating guide for safety information. This device is a UL or ETL listed transient voltage surge suppressor. Replaces RFA-28 (discontinued).
Features:
- Electrical surge protection for in-ground fence transmitters
